I've been having lunch here for sometime now and I very highly recommend this lovely shop. The freshly made bread rolls are THE BEST, I often have a large Turkey, Tuna or Egg salad bap. There is a selection of white, brown or granary and of course, baguettes. They are always so tasty, filling and reasonably priced. The plain bread rolls are delicious as are the Cornish pasties. The ladies are lovely, so welcoming and friendly too. Really, really nice place.Friendly staff and good value cakes. Vanilla slice is yummy. I visit every Saturday with Toby my dog who always gets a free sausage!!

Wesses is one of my favourite places to visit when I fancy a snack or a devilishly delicious cake that would have nutritionists fainting from shock. They are happy to make you a fresh sandwich if what they have ready-made isn't what you're looking for.
They also do hot food options such as sausage rolls and pasties, as well as a fried breakfast option, which I love to put into a crusty roll.

Puzzled by the low review score. Absolutely lovely bakery with fantastic produce and friendly service at a very reasonable price. Granary loaf is my go to and the filled rolls are scrumptious. Support your local shops, this one’s a winner

Passed through Market Harborough and wanted to picked up a quick bit to eat after a ramble around the town. The food in the bakery was well displayed and priced. Staff were friendly and gave that local, family feel. Food was very tasty, would definitely recommend and will be returning when we next visit.

Absolutely love this place, the staff really care about the customer's, always friendly and good food! The bread is fresh everyday and the shop has a really nice atmosphere. Myself and my family have come here for years and it’s great to see it still supported locally in the town. X

I have been looking for a decent non-sourdough bakery outlet in the area - the local Sainsbury's does not even come close - but now my search is over.
The wholemeal loaves and crusty white rolls are simply perfect and take me back to a time where such quality products were more commonly available.
The only small bugbear is their high reliance on plastic wrappers and bags. They should really rethink their policy on that.One of the best old school bakeries I've been to in years, plenty of choice and lovely baguettes for lunch and breakfast rolls.

Excellent bakers. Always have to take cream cakes home to Cambridgeshire for a treat for the family. Lovely bread rolls and baps. All round good friendly service. Alway a good sign for excellent products is a queue out the door.

Without a doubt the best cobs in Leicestershire! Overflowing with fillings, reasonably priced and freshly made. I haven't tried their pastries or cakes, so can't comment on those but I look forward to lunch everyday when working in Market Harborough.
Lovely fresh filled rolls, tasty and moist sausage rolls and the apple and almond cakes are to die for. The staff are really helpful too and seem to go out of their way to help older customers.
The best, biggest and tastiest sandwich in Harborough (imo). The food is all fresh and the sandwiches are fully filled and delicious! Staff are always happy and friendly too. I would eat here every day if I could :)
Best bread I've bought in a while. I can't speak to the quality of their baked goods but their loaves are exceptional quality. Staff are friendly and efficient as well.
